What is Router
Routers are small electronic devices that connect many computer networks via wired or wireless connections.

In technical terms, a router is a layer 3 network gateway device, which means it connects two or more networks and the router operates on the network layer of the OSI model.
The router has a processor (CPU), several types of digital memory and input-output (I / O) interfaces.
Routes have access to network layer addresses or logical address IP addresses. It has a routing table, which enables it to make decisions about the route, for example, which potential paths are available between the source and the destination for transmission and which are the best paths in them.
This routing table is dynamic and is updated with the routing protocol.
Routes receive packets from a connected network and pass it to another connected network. This router checks the destination address and sends the packet to the source network with the best route.
