What Ms. Paint In Englis:



The Windows Operating System comes with a basic and easy-to-use image creation program called Microsoft Paint.

It is alternately referred to as MS Paint or just Paints. This is a simple program in which users can create basic graphic art on their computers.

Paint (formerly Paintbrush) is a simple raster graphics editor that has been included in all versions of Microsoft Windows.

In this program, files that can be opened and saved in bitmap (BMP), JPEG, GIF, PNG, and single-page TIFF formats. This program comes in these two color modes, black-and-white, but there are no grayscale modes here.

Because of the ease of this program, it quickly became one of the most used programs in the early versions of Windows. It became popular because people could paint on Windows PC for the first time. Due to the easy image manipulation task, it was widely used.

In July 2017, Microsoft has edited the paint in the list of unrestricted Windows FEATURES, which means that it will not be developed and can be removable in the future. However, Microsoft will make it available for free in the Windows Store.



How To Open Microsoft Paint



Opening a Microsoft Paint is a very easy process, but it differs depending on your version of Windows.

Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10

Press the Windows key.

In the search box, type the paint

From the search results, click on the Paint program.

Part-I: Introduction of MS Paint

1) Canvas - To draw your page:


When the paint launches, you will see a white "canvas" on the screen. Imagine this canvas as a piece of paper on which you can draw some draws, or write on it.

Before you start making your paintings you can adjust the size of the canvas.

Canvas is an easy way to resize, drag the mouse pointer over its corner and drag it.

In a second way, click the Resize option of the Home tab. Select Pixels and type the size you want in Horizontal and Vertical Boxes. Or you can adjust the size according to the percentage by selecting Percentage. For example, if you want to reduce the half size, type 50 in the horizontal and vertical boxes here and if you want to double the size, then type 200 in both of these boxes.



1) Open an Image File:

In Paint, you can open file types that are different formats, such as BMP, gif, jpg/jpeg, tiff/tiff, ico, and png.


To open a Save image file on your PC, click Open from the File menu.

Go to the folder where the file is stored, select it and click Open.



2) Crop Tool:

In Paint, when you open an image, you can crop this image.

For this, first, open the image, then click on the top Select tool.

Now select the part of the image that you want to preserve.

Now click on the top Crop button.




3) Resize / Skew the image:

Click on the image, then select Resize from the top toolbar. Or you can bring the Resize / Skew dialog box by using the Ctrl + W shortcut keys from the keyboard.


Here you can increase or decrease the size of the image in pixels or parsect, as we saw in the canvas.



4) Rotate the image:

To flip the image upside down (or some other direction), use the rotate tool.

Select the option from the submenu.





5) Zoom in and out:

To enable the Zoom tool, click on the magnifying icon from the top toolbar. To zoom in to the image, click anywhere on the image with the left mouse button. To zoom out, right click on the image with the mouse button.




6) Make your mistakes undo:



If you use any of these tools to make a mistake in time, you can undo your action by pressing Ctrl + Z keys.



7) Save your work:

It is very important to save that file when you have done the complete work on your file.

To save the file, click on the Save As option from the File menu.


Select the location.

Select the format of this file from Save As Type.

What is the difference between JPEG, GIF, and PNG? Which should you use?


If you have a lot of color photographs or images in your file, then select JPG and if there are only a few colors and the size of the file is less then GIF is better.



Part-II: Drawing and Painting



1) Color Palette:

At the top of the screen, you will be showing the box of small colors, it is called a color palette.

Before this, you will see two options of Color 1 and Color 2. Color 1 is for foreground color and for color 2, background color.

When you select Color 1 and choose any color from the palette, the color of the foreground will Similarly when you select Color 2 and select any color from the palette, it will be a background color.




2) Draw Shapes:

From the Shapes toolbox, you can select the shape that you want and then draw it in your Canvas.




3) Change Shapes Line and Fill Color:

If you want to change the shape line and fill color, you can choose from the outline and fill option on the side of the shapes.


After that draw the shape. Now that shape will appear with that outline and fill color.

4) With Freehand Drawing Pencil Tool:

A pencil is a free hand drawing tool, like a real pencil. Selecting this tool you can draw on the canvas.


You can select the Pencil line that width from Size.

5) Paintbrush with Paint Tool:

Paintbrush in paint is more versatile than a pencil because you can choose different brush tips for more unique lines.

Click on the down-arrow of the brushes and choose one of the brush tips.


With Size, you can adjust the size of each brush.



6) Spray colors with Airbrush:

This tool spray selected colors on your canvas.

Select the Airbrush tool from Brushes.



7) To erase the drawing, use the Eraser tool:

To erase a draw line or anything with a tool, click on the Eraser icon and draw it over the area you want to erase.

Like other tools, you can adjust Eraser's width from the Size menu.


Note that whenever you use Eraser Tool, the color selected in Color 2 will be in its background color.
