What is WordPad in English
WordPad-English |
Microsoft WordPad is a rich text editor, Microsoft included for the first time in Microsoft Windows 95 and it is available in all subsequent versions.
Although WordPad is capable of doing much more than Microsoft's Notepad, it is not as advanced as Microsoft Word. However, this provides you with several additional features, such as the ability to add images and format the format.
The picture below shows an example of Microsoft WordPad

Wordpad Welcome Screen
Like other word processing applications, WordPad includes programs and word processing engines. This program includes the Title Bar, Menu Bar, Toolbar, Status Bar, Format Bar, Document Ruler, and Selection Bar.
The .RTF extension is used by both WordPad and Microsoft Word. With each release, Microsoft has added more file format support such as .txt, .doc, and .odt in WordPad.
WordPad is preferred instead of Notepad to create a document when it comes to formatting. It can handle both formatted and simple text. Its features are simpler than Microsoft Word and can be considered as an excellent editor for Word document and a mini-viewer.
It is capable of font, character level formatting, margin, and modification. In it you can insert sound files, charts and graphics in the document. Hypertext links can also be edited and zoom in and zoom out features are also available.
However, WordPad is not considered as a full-featured word processor. It does not have intermediate features like spell check or gramer checking, unlike Microsoft Word. WordPad is not recommended for those documents that have many structured elements. It is not also recommended for configuration files or HTML editing. It is slower to load compared to Notepad but is faster than Office Sweet's second-word processor.
